Up until 2022, I would be willing to work at a job that paid 20,000 rupees, but luckily, by the end of 2023, I was able to earn around $17,000 by working online. My journey started back in 2017 when I got enrolled in a renowned university in Islamabad. I left my home town with a determination to accomplish something big. As you know, things don’t always go as planned. I was not able to perform well in the first two semesters, after which the university warned me to quit the program if this trend continued into the third semester. Well, despite facing significant challenges, I was able to finish my degree and graduate with a 3+ GPA. As the saying goes, “The good times and the bad times will both pass.”

In 2021, I learned that it was possible to make money online. During feelings of uncertainty about my career after graduation, I started following M. Tanveer Nandla and joined SEBT 8. When I heard the first lecture, his words resonated with me. I was not certain if this course would help me succeed, but at that time, it seemed like the most promising path to choose, and I attended the lectures diligently. During the course, I started my first affiliate site, which ranked within 4 months. I didn’t have money to buy a domain, and Jaree Mehdi lent me some. I didn’t have access to any theme templates, which Hamza Ahmad helped me manage. I didn’t know how to write content, and I learned it from Ammar Ashfaq. I vividly recall that the first 400 words of the first article on my website took me 12 hours to write. I requested Ammar Ashfaq to give me feedback on it, and his encouraging response pushed me to work harder.

I continued writing and publishing content consistently, and the website continued to rank. After 4 months of hard work, I earned my first $2 from Amazon affiliates. They were worth $2 million in my eyes because it took me five long years to finally reap the results of my hard work. The digital marketing journey continued, along with which I also secured a full time job. Though unrelated to my field of expertise, the job was a good source of income. I worked from 1 PM to 12 AM at my job, and from 1 AM to 6 AM, I worked on my websites.

I was able to build my first website, which earned me $2600 when I flipped it as well as $1200 in affiliate commissions. After that, I built another website, which within three months began to bring in $500, and cumulatively, it generated a total of $4500. Very soon after, I was managing freelance work for around 20 clients in addition to working a full-time job. “The way appears as you start to walk on it,” I realized.

I am fortunate enough to say that whenever I asked for guidance, I received it right away, and now I feel it is my responsibility to do my part by sharing the knowledge I have acquired through my experience with anyone who needs it.
