I am Muhammad Waqas Saeed, a business graduate. I had no online work experience before joining SEBT. Whatever I have learned regarding blogging is all due to SEBT.
Here is my complete story!
I used to run a snooker club in Faisalabad, and some guys used to come to play there who gradually became my friends. They were involved in online work, and I often asked them for advice. One friend suggested SEBT, and I enrolled in SEBT 7.
Now, I used to manage the club and hold classes in a separate room inside the club. I didn’t urgently need kitchen money, and I could invest a little. Initially, both of these things proved to be a loss for me.
I started two affiliate sites, outsourced content, and got on-page work done. The sites started running; one affiliate site reached $150 per month, and it hit in December 2021 due to a product review update. When it hit, I realized that my content wasn’t good, and I learned that although outsourcing is fine, you should review everything at least once with your own eyes. It was my mistake! Anyway, that site became completely useless.
Then I started working on my second affiliate site; its content wasn’t good either, and it didn’t perform well. I abandoned both and swore off affiliates. I revisited lectures and thought about working in info niches. Time passed, but I wasn’t finding any joy.
One night, at the club, at 3 am, feeling hungry, I was searching for food online when Allah led me to a site that I thought could work – easy content, no off-page, good traffic. It was clear to me that I could do better than that site.
I invoked Allah’s name and got to work, doing everything from A to Z. I focused less on the club and worked for 18 hours straight. Looking at the Search Console and Analytics gave me confidence that I was heading in the right direction. The previous sites had failed, but I had learned a lot from them. I avoided those mistakes, and things became easy for me by Allah’s grace. In October, the site earned its first income, growing every month.
I was ranking in the top 3 for 3500 keywords in my niche, with no close competitors. In June 2023, I thought about selling the site, and by the end of August, by Allah’s grace, I made a sale of 55k.
Now, Alhamdulillah, I’m running ten sites, and they all contribute something. They are still relatively new. For my worldly success, I will always be thankful to Tanveer and everyone who taught us these things. Thanks to the prayers of my parents, Allah made all my affairs easy and made me capable of quickly finding and working on new and easy niches.
My message for newbies is that you will get only what you try for; keep your intentions clear.
