I am immensely grateful to iSkills and Murshid M Tanveer Nandla for giving me the opportunity to start my online journey. Here’s how it all began:
Before venturing into the online field, I worked as a Foodpanda rider in 2020 due to the economic downturn caused by COVID-19. With my mother, a school teacher, losing her job, and financial support from relatives dwindling, I had to find a way to contribute.
Unable to secure a tutoring job, I turned to Foodpanda for income. With a smartphone provided by a relative, I started delivering food. When my father fell ill and was diagnosed with cancer, financial stress compounded our challenges.
A neighbor introduced me to online earning opportunities, teaching me writing skills. I began earning a modest income through writing while pursuing my Master’s degree, thanks to my uncle’s support. Over time, I honed my skills and diversified my income streams, eventually saving enough to invest in a desktop and a motorcycle.
Despite setbacks and family struggles, I persevered, juggling writing projects with my studies and family responsibilities. I faced a dark period of depression but resolved to improve by dedicating time to learning and practicing technical skills.
By securing a part-time job and focusing on website development and SEO, I saw significant progress in my online ventures. Despite challenges with employers and technical issues, mentorship and experimentation helped me overcome obstacles.
With my father’s recovery from cancer and my brother’s success in academics, our family’s spirits lifted. Meanwhile, my online income grew steadily through ad revenue, freelance work, and partnerships. Today, I lead a team of 15 individuals and run a small digital marketing agency.
Through perseverance and resilience, I transformed adversity into opportunity, proving that with determination, anyone can succeed in the online world. Now, Alhamdulillah I’m earning around $2000 – $2500 per month through my blogs and freelance profiles.
